A cozy kitchen counter with baking ingredients, measuring cups, and utensils ready for baking. Lynchburg, VA

Today, I wanted to share a little bit from behind the apron at Pink Pearl. The house has been buzzing with sweet anticipation these past few weeks. As we get closer to opening the Pink Pearl porch stand, I’ve been rolling, scooping, and tucking away batches of cookie dough into the freezer — little pearls of joy waiting for their moment to shine. 🍪✨

It’s not just about baking, though. Every detail has been getting its moment of love — from updating our labels with the updated branding to completely rebuilding my website. Thom has been by my side, bringing my website vision to life, so that my homemade dreams (and beyond!) can come to life. 💕

If you need a website, I know a guy who can help you out! Check out Morris Web-Services for more details.

There’s a particular kind of blessing in this season of preparation — a blend of flour-dusted counters, a desk full of sticky notes, and the quiet thrill of imagining the very first time someone tastes a cookie from our porch stand. It’s busy, yes, but it’s also full of gratitude. Each step feels like weaving together pieces of my grandma’s legacy with new traditions that I can’t wait to share.

And this is only the beginning. The porch stand will start with cookies (of course!) but it won’t stop there. Savory delights, candies, and other treasures are on the horizon — whimsical comforts just waiting to spill out of our home. I can’t wait for you to taste and see what’s next.
